Last week I went to see my brother in Munich. He's working for a German bank there, they pay him well and he's says it's a great place to live, so I thought he can me for a few days while I have a holiday. When I arrived at the airport I phoned the bank and asked to be to my brother. He came and picked me up at the airport and took me to his apartment in the city centre.
I was shocked when I saw him as he's quite a bit of weight. It must be the German food. He likes to a few beers as well, so he's living in the right place!
He smokes more than he used to as well. He says he can't give up at the moment as he's under a lot of stress at work. The trouble is they've the price of cigarettes so much in the UK that smoking seems really cheap in Germany. Anyway, I told him I can't with him smoking in the flat when I'm there and he his cigarette immediately.
